High School Intrams 2011

The High School Department of the San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila recently held the Opening Ceremonies of its Annual Intramurals. 
     This year's theme is "Passing on the Sebastinian Values Through Sports"The activities was kicked-off at the school grounds with the Parade of Athletes proceeding to the School Auditorium. Doxology and the Philippine National Anthem were rendered by the High School Glee Club followed by the opening remarks delivered by Mrs. Elisa P. Basa. 
     A very lively dance number was gyrated by Selected High School Students and the Terpsichorean Dance Troupe. Mr. Michael "Topex" Robinson, Head Coach of the Senior Basketball Team gave an Inspirational Talk on attaining to be the Best. Rev. Fr. Arnel F. Diaz, OAR, Basic Education Coordinator, assisted by Mrs. Cristina M. Aliwalas, Principal and Mrs. Rosemarie J. Abrencillo, Coordinator for Student Affairs awarded medals. 
     Fostering Sportsmanship and Camaraderie were led by Mr. Philip FariƱa through the Oath of Sportsmanship followed by the Lighting of the Torch carried by Mr. Roniel Balid. Mrs. Cristina M. Aliwalas Declared the 2011-2012 High School Intramurals Open. The Ceremonial Toss  by Rev. Fr. Leonardo Pauligue, OAR and Rev. Fr. Arnel F. Diaz, OAR, capped the Program. Miss Fathma Raisalea Linog and Geo Allen Santiago were the Masters of Ceremonies.

CIHM Week 2011

          San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila in Cooperation with the Association of Administrators of Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant Management Education (AAHRMEI) Hosted The "Philippine Regional Cuisine: Prospects and Oppotunities for International Market" held last September 30, 2011. The whole day event was participated in by Colleges and Universities from all over the Philippines. The day started with the ceremonial cutting of the Ribbon followed by the Speeches of the President of AAHRMEI and the Representative of Manila Mayor Hon. Alfredo S. Lim. Plaques of Appreciation was awarded to the Our very own Father Anthony A. Morillo, OAR and Father Leander Barrot, OAR.

          Different Competition related with the Hospitality and Restaurant Services were held throughout the day. It started with the Lutong Pinoy, Sangkap Pinoy Cooking Competition simultaneous with the HRM Student Leader Summit held at the SSC-R Auditorium, through-out the afternoon various events also transpired, namely. Bartending and Napkin folding competition.
           Capping the day was the First Search for Mister and Miss HRM Philippines.
