San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila had just concluded its annual Night Camp Festivities for the School Year 2011-2012.
The event aptly dubbed "Night Camp 2011, Today my life begins ... The Sebastinian Way," was held last August 26 - 27, 2011 at the SSC-R Grounds. The overnight affair was dedicated for the College Freshmen and Transferees as an Orientation in a special way.
Festivities started, despite the rain brought in by typhoon Mina, at 1:30 p.m. via Registration at the High School Arcade, it was followed by the entrance of the participants garbed with t-shirts of particular colors per group. A Holy Eucharist was Celebrated by His Most Reverend Broderick S. Pabillo, D.D., Auxiliary Bishop of Manila, after the Mass, Dinner was distributed while Past Night Camps and other school activities was shown.
Part One started around 8:00 pm. with the Symbolic Torch Lighting and an Inspirational opening number followed immediately by a Production number. The nights emcees interviewed students on their thoughts about the camp. Part Two was Hosted by the Student Development and Placement Center (SDPC), Self-awareness and Getting to know activities were the activities conducted by SDPC. Fireworks, Singing of the SSC-R Hymn among other things were held during the Third Part. After a light midnight snack an inspirational Video was played. The Last Part was bundled with different presentations ranging from Band playing, Pep Squad, Tribal, Beat box, Cheering and Magic. Mr. and Miss Night Camp wound-up the program.
Morning Prayer before breakfast was offered before sending the participants to their Home, Sweet Home!
